The people of Roselawn Lutheran Church are committed to encouraging social and ecumenical fellowship with their neighbors and neighbor congregations. We participate in joint endeavors with our sister churches opening our doors for shared services and programs. We engage in a ministry of hospitality in which we have made our building available for organizations and groups such as Caracole, Roselawn Business Association, Young Rembrandts, a community Sisterhood, a Square Dancing group, and a Yoga class which meets every Wednesday morning. Every summer, we hold a Wednesday evening community outreach program for families in the neighborhood. Our lawn has become a center for events ranging from the Blessing of the Animals in October to weekly neighborhood cookouts the the annual Roselawn Community Council Day of Fun. The people of Roselawn Lutheran church also have a ministry to Ohio House, a neighborhood Graceworks group home for adults with special needs. Roselawn Lutheran church is actively involved with the Roselawn Community Council. The Council is charged with handling topics that include zoning, safety, beautification, city services and an array of issues that affect the quality of life in the neighborhood. The Council works with local residents, leaders and businesses, with the city government and the Cincinnati police to improve the community.
