Confronting Poverty
Roselawn Lutheran Church runs a food pantry available to community residents. We are the only food pantry in the Roselawn area. The demands for food pantry services grows every month. In October 2010, we served 250 individuals.

The food pantry, which is open every other Wednesday and scheduled Sundays, invites clients to choose their items. The food pantry is affiliated with the Cincinnati Free Store and America's Second Harvest. Volunteers, food and personal care items are always needed.
Special thanks to the Thrivent Chapter in Delaware County which enabled us to buy shelving and a freezer.

In its mission to respond to the needs of the wider community and to live out our faith by action, Roselawn Lutheran Church is affiliated with a number of local and national organizations.

Roselawn Lutheran Church is a member of The Amos Project. The Amos Project is a grass-roots coalition which seeks to negotiate in the interests of the people of our community with a special concern for issues affecting low and moderate income people.

We support Bread for the World which is an organization of Christians lobbying to end hunger worldwide.

The people of Roselawn Church support The Caring Place, an organization which provides financial, emotional and spiritual support to those who need help overcoming temporary obstacles on the way to a more stable lifestyle.
